Team Rules and Regulations:
- Mandatory 4 athletes to compete for team points
- 2 Male and 2 Female athletes or 1 Male and 3 Female
- Maximum of 8 athletes per team
- Once an athlete is on a team, they are on that team for the season. If booted from a team an athlete may appeal, for permission to join another team, to the panel of team captains.
Race Rules and Regulations:
- All athletes from a team that are competing must be identified by the team captain via the tournament Facebook page prior to start of race.
- All athletes must run in the Competitive or Elite waves.
- Athletes cannot help one another through obstacles.
- Top 20 Male and Top 20 Female Athletes will be awarded points (unless only top 10 are tracked at a race).

Winning A Race:
- Each of the athletes for a team competing in the race that day will earn an individual score based on their placement in the competitive heat.
- The 4 athletes (2M/2F or 1M/3F) with the best placements will be the scoring members of the team.
- The remaining athletes will still get an individual score, and steal potential points from other teams.
- The team with the highest number of points will be deemed the winner.
- The points each team earns will be added to their tournament standings, and at the end of the tournament the team with the most points will be the overall champions.

Total points = 39
Athlete Y takes 1st place female

Team total = 78 pts (Max for single race)

Athlete W takes 1st place male
Member of Different Team OR Non Tournament competitor takes 2nd place male
Athlete X takes 3rd place male
Total points = 38
Member of Different Team OR Non Tournament competitor takes 1st place female
Athlete Y takes 2nd place female
Athlete Z takes 3rd place female
Total points = 37
Team total = 75 pts
Winning A Spartan Race:
- Each of the athletes for a team competing in the race that day will earn an individual score based on their finish time in either the elite or age group divisions only.
- The 4 athletes (2M/2F or 1M/3F) with the best placements will be the scoring members of the team.
- The remaining athletes will still get an individual score, and steal potential points from other teams.
- The team with the highest number of points will be deemed the winner.
- The points each team earns will be added to their tournament standings, and at the end of the tournament the team with the most points will be the overall champions.

- 780 points are available across all 10 events
Should a team win all 4 Spartan Race's they will be awarded an additional 20 points.
